Join AuSM for this hybrid edition of the 21st Annual Steps for Autism in Minnesota, AuSM’s largest fundraiser of the year. At Steps you will find community, resources, and support.

With safety in mind and social distancing in place, AuSM will offer participants a walk route, fun activities, an autism resource fair, and opportunities for community connections. This event will happen rain or shine.

Those who prefer virtual access will find autism business and organization resources on our website and will be able to walk their favorite route in their own spaces, in their own time.

Registering to participate is FREE. Fundraising is encouraged! Online registration is now closed, but walk ins are welcome.

100% of dollars raised through Steps for Autism are tax deductible, stay local, and support programs and services that help the 1 in 44 people affected by autism in Minnesota to grow and thrive. To learn more, visit www.ausm.org.

  • Raise $250+: Receive a team name sign along the walk route that you can take home (or pick up if you're attending virtually). Must raise $250 or more by May 17 so we have time to create your sign.
  • Raise $500+: Receive an AuSM-branded picnic blanket for your enjoyment this summer and beyond

Official Apparel

To purchase official Steps for Autism in Minnesota 2021 apparel, including the 2021 t-shirt, visit our new apparel store on Bonfire.com. A portion of all sales will support AuSM's programs and resources for the local autism community. Order by May 3 to have your apparel delivered on time to wear during Steps for Autism on May 23. Orders placed after May 3 will be delivered after Steps for Autism 2021.

Why Support AuSM?

For nearly half a century, the Autism Society of Minnesota has helped families and individuals with autism build a community that acts without judgment, searches for new possibilities, and connects us to each other. Dollars raised through Steps for Autism fund valuable programs and services that allow people affected by autism to grow and thrive.

As demand for scholarships for camp, social skills classes, trainings, and other educational events has increased, a portion of dollars raised during Steps for Autism also will go back to the Minnesota autism community through AuSM scholarships.
